Treat electrification as a system change

Electric heat changes energy supply, control philosophy, heat recovery and maintenance. Those interfaces need to be designed together.

Make thermal efficiency commercial

Stable feed systems, effective heat exchange and disciplined process control determine whether lower-emissions processing is economically credible.

Design the pilot for scale

Pilot performance only becomes useful evidence when materials handling, heat transfer and operating conditions reflect the demands of a full industrial plant.

The keynote drew on minerals-processing delivery and technology scale-up to connect technical ambition with the evidence operators, partners and investors need. The emphasis was practical: reduce risk in stages, keep operating teams close to the design and make commercialisation part of the engineering work.
